Out
of Sight - Out of Mind
Living in Bangkok
can be a wonderful experience. It does have a
few drawbacks and although it is improving every
year, general safety definitely can be improved.
Be
Proactive, Don't wait for someone else!
Preventing
potential fire hazards and being prepared if one
occurs is not difficult, and takes little time.
We have conducted
several different programs for schools, teachers and
students, in the past. Programs have ranged
from 1/2 day to 1 full day.
We started in the
class rooms and discussed how fire works and the
different types of fires. We then went on to cover.

The afternoon we
practice how to put out cooking fires and gas
fires. Most people think they know how to use a
fire extinguisher, but how many have actually
practiced using one?
Our last part of
the day included evacuation plans which also
included more practical exercises. The students in
the photos evacuated the 3rd story garden area and
were lowered to the ground floor.
